Getting Started

Accessing the application​

Open the Axessibly web app at:

https://app.axessibly.com

Creating an account​

Axessibly uses two plans:

Starter (free)​

  • Not a 7‑day trial: ongoing free tier
  • Full in‑app access for analysis, sitemap, scans, in‑app reports, compliance, settings, etc.
  • Does not include: downloading export files (PDF, CSV, JSON) from the app or managing the embeddable website widget

Pro (paid)​

  • Monthly Pro subscription (see the current price on the Account page)
  • Everything in Starter plus downloadable exports, the accessibility widget on all sites you register, and other premium items listed in the Pro card
  • Billing through Stripe (checkout and customer portal from Account)

Initial setup: project folder​

Before working in Axessibly, pick a folder on your computer where project data will be stored.

Why it matters?​

Scans, local results, and settings for that project live in files inside the folder you choose.

How to select the folder​

  1. Open https://app.axessibly.com
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Under File management, click Select folder
  4. Choose (or create) a folder

Folder tips​

  • Use a dedicated folder per client or site
  • Prefer clear names
  • Keep projects in a structured tree on disk

New project = new folder​

  1. Settings → File management → Change / Select folder
  2. Pick a different folder than the previous project

Each folder is a separate project; switching folders switches which local data the app loads.

Switching projects​

Settings → File management → Change → pick another project folder.

First steps after setup​

  1. Upload a sitemap
  2. Run scans from the Dashboard or Sitemap page
  3. Review results on the Dashboard and Issues pages
  4. Use Reports; with Pro, use Export for downloadable files

Notes​

  • Data for the selected project is stored in the folder you choose (local-first design).
  • Back up that folder periodically.
  • Use a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, or similar).
